We are a group of visual artists’ agents that have come together as a collective resource to challenge inequality in our industry. We participate in workshops and mentoring programs, offer work placements and explore other opportunities to broaden the horizons for minority groups in the industries of advertising and commercial visual arts.

1

Purpose

By combining our collective experience and network of contacts, we act as a resource to help increase diversity in the commercial visual arts. In addition to each agency’s individual efforts to encourage diversity in the office and on shoots, as a group we engage with organisations in a variety of ways ranging from speaking engagements and mentorships to work placements when possible. Bringing people together is a large part of what we do, whether that be crew for a shoot or industry figures for a panel discussion. By creating a central point for contacting us as a group, we hope to help facilitate change for the better in our industry.

APHE × Agents for Change Panel Discussion

November 11, 2020 at 16:00
The Association for Photography in Higher Education and Agents for Change invite you to attend and take part in a special panel discussion on facing inequalities in the creative industries. We will have artists, agents, commissioners and educators sharing their thoughts and experiences as a catalyst for debate.

The purpose of the talk is, in very simple terms to keep talking. That, as cultural practitioners we must always maintain space to question our working assumptions, to recognise unconscious bias and to resist the rush to simple solutions.
